Description

A refreshing and delightful Peach Lemonade recipe combining the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with tart freshly squeezed lemon juice, perfect for a cool and vibrant summer beverage.

Ingredients

Peach Syrup:

  • 5 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 3/4 to 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on peach sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Lemonade:

  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 5 cups cold water

For Serving:

  • Ice
  • Peach slices
  • Lemon wheels

Instructions

  1. Make the peach syrup: Add the sliced peaches, sugar, water, and a pinch of kosher salt to a blender. Blend everything until completely smooth to create a flavorful peach syrup. Then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, using a spoon to press and extract as much liquid as possible, leaving behind the pulp.
  2. Make the lemonade: Pour the freshly made peach syrup into a large pitcher or beverage dispenser. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir everything well to combine the flavors evenly. Refrigerate the lemonade until well chilled, about 1-2 hours.
  3. Serve: When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled peach lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh peach slices and lemon wheels for an attractive presentation and extra flavor. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar quantity based on the natural sweetness of your peaches to suit your taste.
  • For a smoother drink, strain the peach syrup carefully to remove all pulp.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • The lemonade can be stored refrigerated for up to 2 days but is best served fresh.
  • Add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy variation.
