Description

A quick and refreshing homemade mandarin juice recipe that doesn’t require a juicer. Using fresh mandarins blended with water and optional sugar, this juice is light, natural, and perfect for a healthy boost anytime.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3-4 fresh mandarins
  • 1½ cups water
  • Sugar, optional to taste
  • Ice cubes, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel Mandarins: Peel your mandarins carefully, removing as much of the white pith as possible, and collect the peeled segments in a bowl to prepare them for blending.
  2. Combine Ingredients in Blender: Place the peeled mandarin segments into a blender jar. Add 1½ cups of water and sugar if you prefer a sweeter juice.
  3. Blend the Mixture: Blend the mandarins and water on high speed for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, pressing gently with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible while removing pulp.
  5. Serve: Pour the strained juice into glasses over ice cubes or crushed ice if desired, and enjoy immediately for best taste and freshness.

Notes

  • Removing the pith reduces bitterness and makes the juice smoother.
  • Sugar is optional depending on your sweet preference and the natural sweetness of the mandarins.
  • Using cold water or adding ice cubes will help chill the juice without watering it down.
  • This juice is best consumed fresh and can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
