Description
A quick and refreshing homemade mandarin juice recipe that doesn’t require a juicer. Using fresh mandarins blended with water and optional sugar, this juice is light, natural, and perfect for a healthy boost anytime.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3-4 fresh mandarins
- 1½ cups water
- Sugar, optional to taste
- Ice cubes, optional
Instructions
- Peel Mandarins: Peel your mandarins carefully, removing as much of the white pith as possible, and collect the peeled segments in a bowl to prepare them for blending.
- Combine Ingredients in Blender: Place the peeled mandarin segments into a blender jar. Add 1½ cups of water and sugar if you prefer a sweeter juice.
- Blend the Mixture: Blend the mandarins and water on high speed for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, pressing gently with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible while removing pulp.
- Serve: Pour the strained juice into glasses over ice cubes or crushed ice if desired, and enjoy immediately for best taste and freshness.
Notes
- Removing the pith reduces bitterness and makes the juice smoother.
- Sugar is optional depending on your sweet preference and the natural sweetness of the mandarins.
- Using cold water or adding ice cubes will help chill the juice without watering it down.
- This juice is best consumed fresh and can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
