- 12 medium soft flour tortillas
- 20 ounce apple pie filling (1 can)

Instructions
- Prep the oven and baking dish. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly brush a 9×13 inch baking dish with some of the melted butter to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture and apple filling. In a shallow plate, combine the sugar and cinnamon until evenly mixed. Open the can of apple pie filling and pour it onto a cutting board. Use a knife to chop the apples into smaller, bite-sized pieces for easier filling distribution.
- Assemble the taquitos. Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chopped apple pie filling onto the lower third of the tortilla. Tightly roll the tortilla around the filling to form a taquito.
- Coat the taquitos. Using a pastry brush or spoon, brush the rolled taquito with melted butter. Then gently roll the buttered taquito in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Arrange in baking dish. Place the coated taquito seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and apple filling, ensuring all 12 taquitos are assembled and coated.
- Bake the taquitos. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the taquitos turn golden brown and crispy on top.
- Serve. Remove from the oven and serve warm. Optionally, drizzle with caramel sauce for extra sweetness and flavor enhancement.
