Ingredients
For 3 Servings
- 1/2 cup (120 grams) Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (from about 3 lemons)
- 1/3 cup (105 grams) Honey (or to taste)
- 2 cups (480 grams) Water
- Pinch of Salt (optional)
For 6 Servings
- 1 cup (240 grams) Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (from about 6 lemons)
- 2/3 cup (210 grams) Honey (or to taste)
- 4 cups (960 grams) Water
- Pinch of Salt (optional)
Optional Garnishes
- Crushed Ice
- Fresh Mint
- Lemon Wheels
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Add the fresh lemon juice, honey, water, and a pinch of salt (if using) to a blender. Blend on low speed for about 20 to 30 seconds until the mixture is well combined and slightly foamy.
- Adjust Sweetness: Use a spoon to stir down the foam, then taste the lemonade. If you prefer it sweeter, add more honey and blend again briefly to incorporate.
- Serve: Pour the lemonade over glasses filled with crushed ice for an extra refreshing drink. Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves and thinly sliced lemon wheels for visual appeal and added flavor.
- Store: Alternatively, transfer the lemonade to lidded Mason jars or airtight containers and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to enjoy later.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey based on your preferred level of sweetness.
- If you prefer a less sweet or more tart lemonade, reduce the honey or increase the lemon juice accordingly.
- Adding a pinch of salt enhances the flavors but is optional.
- The lemonade will keep refrigerated for up to 3 days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
- Garnishing with fresh herbs like mint and lemon wheels adds a nice touch and aroma.
- Use room temperature water for better honey dissolution if blending doesn’t fully mix the honey at cold temperatures.
