Description

The Watermelon Electrolyte Drink is a refreshing, naturally hydrating beverage made with watermelon, lemon, and Himalayan pink salt—ideal for rehydration after exercise or during hot weather.

Ingredients

4½ cups cubed watermelon

Juice of 1 lemon

1 cup filtered water

¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add watermelon cubes, lemon juice, filtered water, and Himalayan pink salt to a blender. Add ice if desired.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and no chunks remain.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use coconut water instead of filtered water for more electrolytes.
  • Add mint leaves for extra freshness.
  • Include fresh ginger for added spice and digestive benefits.
  • Use lime juice instead of lemon for a different flavor.
  • Add honey or agave syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
