Description

These Frozen Snickers Banana Pops are a fun and healthy twist on the classic candy bar, combining the creamy sweetness of banana, rich peanut butter, crunchy peanuts, and a decadent chocolate shell. They’re vegan, gluten-free, and the perfect treat for satisfying your sweet tooth in a wholesome way!

Ingredients

2 bananas

1/3 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup crushed peanuts

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bananas: Line a baking tray or plate with parchment paper and set aside. Cut the ends off the bananas, then cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick in the middle of each banana half. Freeze for 45 minutes to 1 hour to firm up.
  2. Coat with peanut butter: Once the bananas are frozen, remove them from the freezer and coat each banana with a layer of peanut butter. Roll the bananas into the chopped peanuts or sprinkle them over the top, ensuring an even coating.
  3. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Coat with chocolate: Using a spoon, drizzle or coat the bananas with the melted chocolate to create a chocolate shell around the peanut butter-covered banana.
  5. Freeze again: Return the pops to the freezer for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to solidify.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Once the chocolate shell has hardened, your Frozen Snickers Banana Pops are ready to enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer almond butter, you can swap it for peanut butter for a different nutty flavor.
  • Feel free to use milk chocolate if preferred, but keep in mind that it won’t be vegan.
  • For extra flavor, add a drizzle of caramel sauce over the chocolate before freezing.
  • Store the pops in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.
  • If you don’t like peanuts, substitute with crushed almonds, granola, or any other topping of choice.
