Description

Kool Aid Grapes are a colorful and refreshing frozen snack made by coating grapes in flavored Kool-Aid powder and freezing until crisp. Easy to make and fun to eat, they’re perfect for hot days, parties, or kid-friendly treats.

Ingredients

6 oz Kool-Aid mix (assorted flavors as desired)

3 lb green grapes

Instructions

  1. Freeze grapes for 1 hour to help stems twist off easily.
  2. Remove stems by gently twisting while grapes are still cold.
  3. Rinse grapes with cool water to remove frost and slightly moisten the surface.
  4. Divide grapes into zip-top bags by flavor.
  5. Add Kool-Aid powder to each bag, seal, and shake until grapes are evenly coated.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread coated grapes in a single layer.
  7. Freeze for 24 hours or until completely solid.
  8. Serve straight from the freezer for a crunchy, flavorful treat.

Notes

  • Use sugar-free Kool-Aid for a lower-calorie option.
  • Red grapes, blueberries, or mixed fruit can be used with similar results.
  • Sprinkle coarse sugar or edible glitter before freezing for added flair.
  • Flavor combinations like grape-cherry or tropical punch-blue raspberry work well together.
