Description

A refreshing and vibrant Korean-style strawberry milk made with real strawberry syrup, layered with chilled milk and ice—perfect for warm days or a fruity dessert drink.

Ingredients

2 cups chopped strawberries

¼ cup sugar

12 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)

¼ of a lemon, juiced

Ice cubes

Milk of choice (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Chop strawberries into very small pieces.
  2. In a pan, combine strawberries, sugar, honey, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  3. Simmer over low-medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring often until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and let the strawberry syrup cool completely.
  5. Spoon a few tablespoons of syrup into a glass.
  6. Add ice cubes, then pour in your preferred milk.
  7. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices if desired.
  8. Stir before drinking to mix or enjoy the layered look first.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness based on your strawberries and preference.
  • Use maple syrup or agave for a vegan version.
  • Don’t mix milk ahead—assemble fresh for best taste and look.
  • Store syrup up to 1 week in the fridge.
