Ingredients
¼ cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
¼ cup granulated sugar

4 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or Texas toast)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- In a small bowl, mix butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly on each slice of bread, covering to the edges.
- Place slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Switch to broil and broil for 1–2 minutes until the top is bubbling and golden.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve immediately.
