Ingredients
⅓ cup butter, melted

¾ cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
½ cup cheddar cheese, finely grated
½ tsp coarse black pepper (or to taste)
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Shredded cheddar cheese (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter an 11×7-inch baking pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, 1 tsp garlic powder, and seasoned salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated cheddar, black pepper, and the remaining 1 tsp garlic powder.
- Dip each chicken breast into the butter mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the oven, uncovered, for 35 to 45 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the juices run clear.
- For the last 5 minutes of baking, top each chicken breast with shredded cheddar cheese.
