Ingredients

⅓ cup butter, melted

2 tbsp minced garlic (or to taste)

2 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)

½ tsp seasoned salt

¾ cup seasoned dry bread crumbs

½ cup cheddar cheese, finely grated

½ tsp coarse black pepper (or to taste)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Shredded cheddar cheese (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter an 11×7-inch baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, 1 tsp garlic powder, and seasoned salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated cheddar, black pepper, and the remaining 1 tsp garlic powder.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the butter mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake in the oven, uncovered, for 35 to 45 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the juices run clear.
  7. For the last 5 minutes of baking, top each chicken breast with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
