Description
These Crispy Cornflake Chicken Nuggets are a crunchy, flavorful twist on classic nuggets—coated in seasoned cornflakes and baked or air-fried for a healthier, kid-friendly meal or snack.
Ingredients
150 g cornflakes
1.5 teaspoon garlic powder
1.5 teaspoon onion powder
1.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoon oil
60 g mayonnaise
700 g chicken breast, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Place cornflakes in a large bowl or dish and crush them by hand until crumbly.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour in the oil and stir to evenly coat the cornflake mixture.
- In another bowl, mix diced chicken breast with mayonnaise until all pieces are coated.
- Transfer chicken pieces to the cornflake mixture. Toss well until each piece is fully coated.
- Arrange coated chicken on a large baking tray or in an air fryer basket.
- Bake at 200°C (fan) for 15–16 minutes, or air fry at 180°C for 11–12 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked through before serving.

- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- Swap mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
- Use gluten-free cornflakes for a gluten-free option.
