Description

This Crazy Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful appetizer that’s perfect for gatherings and parties. Made with cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, spinach, and marinated artichoke hearts, this dip is baked to bubbly perfection and served warm with chips or crackers.

Ingredients

Dip Base

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed

Cheeses

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Vegetables

  • 10 oz chopped spinach (frozen, defrosted, and liquid squeezed out)
  • 10 oz marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine Creamy Ingredients: Place the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a large bowl. Add in the pressed garlic cloves and stir well to combine all the creamy ingredients into a smooth mixture.
  2. Add Cheese and Vegetables: Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, chopped spinach, and chopped marinated artichoke hearts until evenly mixed.
  3. Prepare Baking Dish: Spray a 9×9 inch baking dish with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Pour the dip mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
  4. Add Topping and Bake: Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella evenly on top of the dip. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (204°C) for 20 minutes, or until the cheese on top is bubbly and slightly golden.
  5. Serve Hot: Remove the dip from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite chips, crackers, or bread for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the spinach is well-drained to avoid a watery dip.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a tangier dip.
  • Marinated artichoke hearts add extra flavor; drain well to keep the dip from being too wet.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and warmed before serving.
