Description

This single-serving edible cookie dough is a quick, indulgent treat featuring rich, buttery dough and melty chocolate chips—perfect for when you want something sweet and safe to eat without baking.

Ingredients

1 ½ Tbsp unsalted butter, softened

1 Tbsp brown sugar

½ Tbsp granulated sugar

¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream

1 pinch salt

3 ½ Tbsp all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

12 Tbsp chocolate chips (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until it reaches 165 °F (about 90 seconds total). Let cool completely.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and heavy whipping cream until smooth.
  4. Mix in cooled flour and pinch of salt until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips. Serve immediately or chill for a firmer texture.

Notes

  • Microwaving flour ensures it’s safe to eat raw.
  • Use milk or yogurt instead of heavy cream if desired.
  • Make it vegan by using plant-based substitutes for butter and cream.
  • Double the recipe for a bigger portion or to share.
