Description

These Chocolate Almond Butter Granola Squares are the perfect combination of sweet, nutty, and indulgent. The crunchy texture of granola and peanuts paired with the creamy almond butter and rich chocolate coating creates a delightful treat that’s sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. They’re easy to make, customizable, and dairy-free!


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups granola

1/2 cup peanuts

2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp almond butter (not too oily)

1/3 cup almond butter (for the center)

Topping:

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (dairy-free)

1 tbsp coconut oil


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the granola, peanuts, maple syrup, and 2 tbsp of almond butter. Pulse until completely blended.
  2. Press one scoop of the mixture firmly into the bottom of a silicone mold or any mold of your choice.
  3. Drizzle the 1/3 cup of almond butter over the pressed granola mixture.
  4. Place the mold in the freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight to allow the mixture to set.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second increments, stirring in between each session until fully melted.
  6. Once the granola squares are set, carefully pour a scoop of the melted chocolate over each square.
  7. Freeze the squares for an additional 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
  8. Once fully set, remove the squares from the mold and enjoy!

Notes

  • Nut Substitutes: If you don’t like peanuts, you can replace them with almonds, cashews, or any other nut of your choice.
