Description
Quick and satisfying, this burger sandwich features a juicy, seasoned meat patty, melted cheddar and mozzarella, and egg-soaked toast edges—crispy, cheesy, and perfect for a fast, filling meal.
Ingredients
300 g minced meat (beef, lamb, or preferred)
2 g salt
2 g paprika powder
2 g garlic powder
1.5 g black pepper
Bread slices (2 per sandwich)
Butter (for toasting)
Cheddar cheese slices
Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg (beaten, for bread edge)
Instructions
- Mix minced meat with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper. Shape into burger patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Cut the center from one bread slice, keeping the outer crust intact.
- Beat an egg. Heat butter in a pan and place the crust slice in the pan. Pour half of the egg into the center hole.
- Add a cheddar slice on top of the egg, then place the cooked patty above it. Sprinkle mozzarella over the patty.
- Top with the bread center and press gently. Cook until golden, flip carefully, and cook the other side until crisp and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use thick-cut bread or buns for variation.
- Try different cheeses like Swiss or Gouda.
- Add sauces like ketchup, mustard, or BBQ inside for extra flavor.
- Swap with chicken, veggie, or turkey patties as desired.
- Best served hot and fresh to retain crispness.
