Ingredients

1 slice white bread

1 egg

3 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp olive oil

Sesame seeds for topping

Syrup or honey for serving (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place a slice of white bread in your air fryer basket.
  2. Press down the center of the bread with the back of a spoon to form a well.
  3. Drizzle or brush olive oil on the bread, especially the edges.
  4. Crack an egg into the well at the center of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the egg and the bread.
  6. Air fry at 175 °C (350 °F) for 7–10 minutes, depending on desired yolk consistency.
  7. Remove and sprinkle sesame seeds and a pinch of salt on top.
  8. Serve warm with a drizzle of syrup or honey, if desired.
